Bus RulesLIFE Academy School bus image

Bus routes are scheduled in July and are available at the open house. Because all of our students receive door-to-door service, it is very important to notify the driver if your student will not be attending school that day. Please leave a brief voice message on the driver's cell phone, as drivers may not receive text messages or engage in conversations while driving. This policy is for our students' safety.

Please be sure that your student is ready at the time of pickup, and refrain from asking the driver any unnecessary questions, as our drivers need to stay on schedule in order to assist all students.

Attendance

In addition to informing your bus driver, please also call the school office at (239) 334-4434 if your student will not be attending. It is not our drivers' responsibility to relay attendance messages.

Uniforms and Clothing:

Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy students are required to wear navy or khaki bottoms with a plain-color polo-style collared shirt. Students not arriving in uniform will be asked to change or a parent/guardian will be called to bring a change of clothes.

It is very important that each student have a change of clothing (including undergarments). Students are responsible for bringing their own personal hygiene items. The school is not permitted to give students any hygiene products.

Lunch

Lunches are $3.00 per student, and qualifying students may receive a reduced lunch rate of $.75. Applications for free and reduced-price lunches are available during the first week of school, and must be received by Friday of the first week.

Students may also bring their own lunches in an insulated container. Bottled water may be purchased for $.50.
